It seems like some version of "type writer but i am curious as to if it has an actual name. Link with picture to the font which im referring here
No one at the time would have considered it a font. It was simply the lettering designed into the embossing device used to make dogtags, and was different on older or newer machines. The manufacturer (Addressograph) probably used brass letters based on designs used for typewriter keys, which would have been easily acquired. eBay listings usually describe the Graphotype stamps as either "font 133A" or "font 28A." Courier was designed for the IBM Selectric, which worked very differently from other typewriters.

Looks like Courier to me, but Courier was released to resemble typewriter font IIRC. As far as I know, there is no actual name for the font used on the tags or the typewriter.
