Difficult to answer considering the idea of "getting revenge" is subjective and most slaves were looking for freedom for themselves and their families, not revenge. There are, however, many instances of slave revolts and uprisings. Some of which are very famous, Nat Turner's Rebellion occurring in Virginia in 1831 and John Brown's raid on Harpers Ferry in 1859. (Interesting to note that John Brown was actually a white abolitionist.) Yet both of these revolts had limited, if any, success and actually resulted in worsening conditions for African-American slaves.
