Are there any native languages in the Middle East or North Africa that took any significant influence from Latin?

If not, why was it just the Romance languages in Europe that drew heavily from Latin when the Roman Empire was so prevalent elsewhere too?

Romance languages are descended from Latin, meaning at one point, they were all one language we call Vulgar Latin.

Also, plenty of non-Romance languages within Europe were influenced by Latinate vocabulary, namely English, which is a Germanic language, but other Germanic languages have seen a lot of borrowing as well.
