Are these civil war era sprite and andeker beers? Any history behind the beer?

Union made just means it was made by unionized workers - during the civil war, beer would have been sold in glass bottles (or just served out of kegs) not aluminum cans.

Edit: Also note that one of the cans says that the brand has been "consistently superior in quality for more than 200 years" and "Since 1775." So I'd say these date from the late 70s at the earliest.
