Does there have any proof of native Americans every inventing sailing.

It seems like a fairly simple invention but I have never seen an example of it in Native American culture.

Andean peoples, including Aymara and Uru, navigate Lake Titicaca between Bolivia and Peru in totora reed boats. Not all have sails, but through the centuries Quechua people, including the Incas, made boats with reed sails (Zumerchik and Danver clxxxii). Here's a picture of a contemporary version of the traditional reed sail boat.
