As I'm currently reading it, Huxley's Brave New World anticipated many modern technologies, as well as the manner in which people might become religiously absorbed in them. Helicopters and televisions as well as genetically modifying new life. Lots of early sci-fi is good at predictions, I think.
As a side note, one of the worst predictions, repeated hundreds of thousands of times throughout history, has yet to be fulfilled - the end of the world. Here's hoping it remains that way!
