I'm a Welshman my self and I'm very interested can tell me why an American Regimental String Band is singing Men of Harlech? I personaly think Welshmen must of been fighting on both sides of the Cvil War. Does anybody else know otherwise?

Here is a nice summary of Welsh immigration-involvement in the American Civil War. The article points out that the majority of the Welsh involved fought for the North, a predictable outcome since Welsh immigration was predominantly to pro-Union or border states. I hope this helps.
