The parts of the german Wehrmacht which were in Finland had to be put out of Finland in 14 days because of the Treaty of Moscow signed in 1944. Not having the logistical capabilities to do that the Germans there obviously could not pull out in 14 days and thus began the Lapland War in which the Wehrmacht mined a big part of the path in which they were retreating and burned bridges and villages using scorched earth tactics.
In April 1945 then the last Action between Fins and Germans happened since until then most of the troops retreated into the still german occupied Norway.
