How much do we know about the Jomsvikings? Are they more legendary than factual?

I did a quick read on Wikipedia but there was nothing substantial. I also just watched Viking Apocalypse which strongly suggested a burial site could be Jomsvikings (found in England somewhere). Just wondering if anybody had anything additional. Thanks!

I figured I'd post what I saw in the documentary:

Basically, a burial site was discovered in England. 54 bodies in one pile with 51 skulls in another. Researchers initially thought that the bodies belonged to Anglo Saxons from the 10th century but, through forensic science, discovered they were in fact Danish. After more research, they concluded that the bodies belonged to Danes executed on St. bruces (sp?) day. Another piece of evidence is that the teeth of one of the corpses was filed down in order to presumably hold dye. They linked that to be evidence of Harold the Bluetooth.

My amateur interest in Nordic custom is more with mythology hence my question. I'm sorry for those that updated and didn't get an answer.

The documentary on question is on Netflix. I had never heard, during my amateur research, of this band if mercenaries hence the question. ☺
