Are there any success stories when it comes to the dismantling the British Empire?

I've noticed that in many conflict zones around the world they can trace their recent history to the British Empire and many of the conflicts revolve around border disputes brought about during the dismantling of the Empire. Are there any relative successes? It seems that conflict was sown everywhere during the breakup.

I think this needs a little more clarification and will dare an answer even though it is wildly out of my scope.

Canada and Australia were both part of the empire and seem to be doing pretty well... Is there something about either that you consider unsuccessful? Many of the island territories (Barbados, Jamaica, Trinidad, Malta) were peacefully transitioned.

It is perhaps worth mentioning that many of the places that had conflict in the exit were gained as results of war reparations after the British intervened, meaning the areas were conflict heavy before British involvement.

If you are going to discount some of those examples, what examples are relevant? Are we talking about prior to a certain date? Be aware you risk defining the issue in a way that proves your premise.
