With the Hamas/Israeli conflict going on right now im seeing lots of propaganda on social media, most of it being complete bullshit or lacking any sources. I recently came across this tweet which contains no source what so ever, and i was wondering about its truth. I have read that a jewish state would have been created by Britain regardless of WW2, so im curious if this has any truth to it.

Long story short, many places were "considered" or "proposed", but none were seriously suggested and considered viable, real options that the Jewish people would explore. Only the "Uganda" plan, actually meant to give land in today's Kenya, was ever really considered formally by Zionists, and that offer died almost as quickly as it was proposed. Other than that, the leading political Zionist (the founder of the movement of political Zionism), Theodor Herzl, talked a bit about Argentina as a potential area, but virtually no focus went anywhere besides Palestine.
The Uganda Scheme is real and remains the most famous. There was once a plan to create a Jewish state in Argentina, so that is true as well. The Madagascar Plan was spearheaded by the Third Reich, but it is still a proposed location of settlement (if you will). The British Guiana Plan was real but it never got off the ground. The Kimberley region of Western Australia was also selected as a place where 75,000 Jewish refugees from Europe could be resettled. This became known as the Kimberley Plan.
