Yes, there are indeed descendants from Bernardo O'Higgins. Bernardo only had one son: Pedro Demetrio O’Higgins Puga, who in turn had three children. Antonia Isabel O’Higgins Davis, Belisario O’Higgins Davis and María del Carmen Demetria O’Higgins Ruíz. They in turn produced plenty of children of their own who in turn had quite a few themselves and it is that generation (and beyond) which are still among us in Chile. I have, for the sake of privacy, not reproduced the names of Bernardo's great grandchildren (and beyond) since I feel that it would be inappropriate, considering that many of them are still alive.
