I am looking for a book or website which show the evolution of medieval, preferably European, plate armor.
Alternatively I am looking for a listing of the different types of plate armor ie: maximillion and gothic armor.
Maybe not quite what you're looking for, but this website has a lot of medieval pictures of people in armour, though it only goes to 1450, so you miss quite a bit of plate armour. They also have another website which has a lot of effigies from tombs. They're a little hard to navigate, but you can search by date and stuff.
