Hi, could somebody recommend me a good balanced overview of the history of this conflict? I'm really embarrassed not to know enough about it, but find wildly differing opinions everywhere I look.
I'm sorry but what exactly are you looking for? You say "the mainland" but that doesn't actually make much sense. Are you looking for an overview of any Irish connections to France/Germany/Spain?
