I've recently been reading about Hannibal, and was wondering if anyone has a good illustration of Carthage during or around Hannibal's lifetime? Was it comparable to Rome?

Being a commercial trading port, there is no doubt that Carthage in this era was a much more prosperous and well engineered city than Rome during this time. Many of the iconic Roman structures we think of such as the Coliseum and Pantheon were built centuries later.
Cato the Elder visited Carthage after the second Punic War and recalled seeing advanced technology such as running water on the second story of buildings.
