I'm embarking on a project about Jewish Partisans in WWII and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a book on the topic. I have found a lot of memoirs, but I'm looking for something more definitive and historical. My ideal book would illuminate the place of Jewish Partisans within the greater framework of World War II.
I'm looking for a strong presentation of context, readability, lots of footnotes, and a balance of personal examples with analysis. Any suggestions? Thanks
