Is there even literature on this in South Vietnam? North Vietnam would never have produced any literature on this subject after the communist revolution. It was not illegal in that country, but that does not mean it would be an accepted lifestyle in the time period.

Furthermore, most of North Vietnam's buildings were demolished during the Vietnam war. This does not make for a good survival rate of any historic documents or studies performed at that time.
