New book coming out next month by Owsley and Jantz called Kennewick Man: The Scientific Investigation of an Ancient American Skeleton.
For those who don't know, the ~9,500 year old remains of an adult male were discovered along the Columbia River in 1996. A firestorm of controversy erupted over the remains that involved local Native American nations, new NAGPRA legislation, debate on the peopling of the New World, and even neo-Druids. The osteological analysis in the book represents the most complete analysis of Paleoindian remains ever completed. Smithsonian Magazine has a good write up about the topic if you are interested.
