Yes some historians do mention that Anthony did field some light Egyptian troops along with his with his main force of Roman heavy infantry. Although these authors do not go in to great detail about the composition of these light Egyptian troops so it is possible they had little impact on the outcome of the war. Certainly Anthony did have Egyptian sailors and Marines fighting along side his Roman regulars in the battle of actium. Many of his ships at the battle were built in Egypt and were manned by Egyptians. I am not an expert but I do have a BA in history. I am on my phone now but when I get home I will add my sources.
