A very general description of a Shogun's daily life during the Edo Period, which 1769 is in, while keeping in mind there is a large amount of leeway and schedules vary according to each Shogun, the current events at the time, and any other small daily life factors, would be something like this.
6:00 AM Awakening. A Kosho, what might be considered a squire, that had been keeping watch overnight will awaken the Shogun. A morning hygiene routine would consist of washing the face and "gurgling" some water.
7:00 AM Prayer/Paying Respect to Ancestors. The Shogun would enter the Ooku where the Shogun family Spirit Tablets were kept at a family alter. This would be done with the Midaidokoro, the "first" or "official" wife.
8:00 AM Breakfast, shave, haircut, and medical checkup with the court physician.
10:00 AM Morning visitation time. This was generally a domestic affair, and would mainly involve talking with the women of the Ooku
11:00 AM Free Time. Swordsmanship, archery, horse riding, art, music, calligraphy, scholarly pursuits, etc.
12:00 AM Lunch.
1:00 PM Politics. This was when a Shogun "held court". He'd listen to advisers, give decrees, etc.
3:00 PM Free time
6:00 PM Bath and Dinner.
8:00 PM Free time
10:00 PM Sleep
