My brother is a Seventh Grade History Teacher and I am trying to surprise him with a few of posters to decorate his class. My main plan is to feature historically accurate warriors of each culture in the forfront, with maps of the controlled territory and some facts in the back ground. Something to get the kids interested!

Could you point me the direction of a description or illustration of what the Songhai or Malian Warriors/ Soldiers wore into battle?
So far I haven't found anything as definitive as the information on, say that of the Eagle Warrior or the Sengoku Samurai.
