I picked up these two coins at a flea market at least ten years ago and just found them again. I have no idea how old they are, where they are from or whether they are even real. Do we have any numismatists around here who might be able to make an educated guess? I hope the pictures provided are good enough.
Both coins are certainly Roman. The right portrait with the diadem and the large, wide open eyes is probably from the 4th century AD. The left one might be a century earlier, maybe from the reign of emperor Galienus (253/60-268 AD).
You can also try to post this on /r/ancientcoins. In theory it should be possible to get a lot more information out of these two coins.
