After watching some footage from the conflict in Chechnya -- Why are so few of the Russian soldiers in uniform? Why does it look as if they were simply plucked off a farm and sent to the battlefield...?

I've unfortunately had to remove this post since we have a strict policy of not allowing questions that covers anything after 1994.

However, now that I've removed the question, I will not leave you without an answer. Could you pinpoint the Russian soldiers in question in the video? The few snippets of armed men in the video are of Chechen insurgents - not Russians.
