I'm looking for a good film about the trials and executions that are almost pinpoint accurate. Or at least a great documentary.
The go-to dramatization is "Judgement at Nuremberg", a 1961 film starring Burt Lancaster and Spencer Tracey. It was very well regarded when it came out, garnering a number of Oscar nominations (including Best Picture) and winning for Adapted Screenplay. It still shows up on a number of "great film" lists, and in my own opinion, aged quite well, which obviously can't be said for all old movies.
As for accuracy, it shouldn't be taken as a documentary in terms of how it portrays the trials. The specific characters are fictional, but it is a very fair and reasonable adaption of the events that went on.
