One of my favorites is Diary of a Manchu Soldier translated by Nicola Di Cosimo. A sample entry from March 5, 1681:

"On the sixteenth crawling and slipping along the way, we climbed up to the first level of Shimen Ridge. We spread grass on the slippery moss, and fetching the horses one by one, we crossed with great effort that swampy and hideous place. One could see that many horses had fallen into the precipice and died. The men’s feet were covered with blisters, and could not go any further. After we had walked for 3 li it was getting dark. Staggering and stumbling, we struggled on crossing over the rock layer of the second ridge, and set up camp. One could see one by one the bodies of the rebels who had been killed."
