Hello I'm researching Florence 1378 and the I'm digging deep into a few particular characters and how they interrelate. Namely :Giovanni di Bicci de' Medici :Cosimo de' Medici :Salvestro Di Medici and here's the one I can't find. :Luigi Guiciiardini
Now Luigi Guicciardini replaced Salvestro in 1378 July 1st as banner-bearer of Justice I based on what I've read. But why? do these guys have wives? how old are they? everything I've learned about these guys seems superficial at best.
Any help is great.
What sources have you been reading? I prefer to give questioners new sources rather than straight up answers, because if people knew about the sources, they wouldn't have the questions. Additionally, they might answer some questions they had never even considered. :)
Edit: Cosimo de Medici wasn't born yet in 1378, so what is the nature of your concern with that particular figure?
