I'm doing a project for school about the children of concentration camps (not strictly Holocaust, but preferable). The project was inspired by this picture: http://i.imgur.com/svnprL8.jpg

It would be incredibly helpful if there is additional information people can provide, like mentioning articles or books I could get more information from, perhaps sharing photos of children in concentration camps they could share.

Was there a particular home these children could go to for treatment, were there health centres (so to speak) set up to help children cope with their trauma?

Are there many stories of severe mental breakdowns?

When did children living in Britain or America (so on) learn about the Holocaust? When was learning about it introduced into the school curriculum?

Were these children bullied by non-Jewish kids?

Could the children go back into the education system or did they experience too much trauma?

Were there particular orphanages these kids were sent to?
