What would some examples of medieval cat calls be?

by antlong

I was wondering if any literature exists on medieval cat calls, language around mating or courting, etc.

Not a proper answer but it gives me an excuse to bust out this great line from the Proverbs of Hendyng (1325):

Ȝeue þi cunte to cunnig and craue affetir wedding. (Give your cunt wisely and make [your] demands after the wedding.)

'Cunt' wasn't as offensive as it is now, it was used in the place of 'vagina'. Chaucer's 'Canterbury Tales' has a fair few references to them in the form of 'queynte'.
