Stumbled across a lost cemetery (according to county records). Can read two of the tombstones and an internet search names the cemetery and that it was lost. A neighbor said his family has owned land around it for years and all he knows is that it was an "old black" cemetery. I took some photos but i don't know much about reddit or photoshop whatever. Is there anyone who has some type of filter or software that they may be able to help me identify them our suggest a subreddit where i can get some assistance?
I don't have any experience with photo software so I won't be any help there. However, can you visit the site again and try to make a rubbing of some of the gravestones? To do a rubbing you would need a small brush (to brush away any loose debris), some plain white paper of whatever size the grave marker is and some crayon or special rubbing wax.
In order to obtain the rubbing simply brush away loose debris from the area that you want to capture, place the plain paper over the text on the gravestone and then use the crayon or wax to "rub" over the paper and capture the text onto the paper. I assume that the grave stones are made of limestone or some other very soft material so be careful not to rub too hard, just hard enough to transfer the engraving from the stone onto the paper.
There may be other ways to do this that you can find doing a Google search, but this is a method I have used before. Good Luck!
There are a few very simple things you can do:

take highest possible resolution pix of stones with highly oblique lighting. Then open the file and slowly maximise the contrast in your photo viewer.
You can buy cemetery guides to identify some of the tomb styles and symbolism. Don't know if that's what you meant though.
