Did Germany ever attempt a peace treaty with Stalin after Stalingrad and Kursk?

No. By that time, the German propaganda machine had committed itself to Germany waging an existential war with the Soviet Union. Any kind of rapprochement would have been abhorrent to Hitler. I mean, think about it, if he killed himself rather than sign a peace treaty when the Soviets reached Berlin, would he have really tried to get one at the height of the war?
