No. By that time, the German propaganda machine had committed itself to Germany waging an existential war with the Soviet Union. Any kind of rapprochement would have been abhorrent to Hitler. I mean, think about it, if he killed himself rather than sign a peace treaty when the Soviets reached Berlin, would he have really tried to get one at the height of the war?
