On 4 April 1984, Uzi Mahsia Alon, aged 46, and Yehuda Limai, aged 31, ... were on 4 April charged at the Jerusalem District Court with conspiring and attempting to use explosives to cause damage to a holy place - the Dome of the rock and Al-Aksa mosque in the Old City.

They were associated with a group known as the Jewish Underground, which allegedly planned multiple attacks on targets, including the Dome of the Rock, in 1984.
