When did corporate bullshit start?

Slogans and the like have existed for a long time. For the development of the Madison Avenue-style things you mention, my best estimate would be in the 1920s and 30s, mostly due to Bruce Barton. Barton was many things, but chief among them was an adman who understood the power of language and imagery. For a very good bio of Barton and American advertising in general, see Rick Fried's The Man Everybody Knew.

We're getting a lot of reports on this one. Could you resubmit your question with more neutral phrasing?
