Sadly it's difficult to say what impact it had, as all Japanese immigration was banned from 1924 to 1952 as part of the Immigration Act of 1924's Asian Exclusion Act. There's no solid evidence to suggest that it did, and census data shows a sharp increase in "other races" (meaning not black or white) in the years following the passing of the 1952 provision.
