What are some good, relatively easy to read (but without sacrificing too much complexity) books on Attila the hun?
Peter Heather's Fall of the Roman Empire is an easy read. He claims his thesis is the empire collapsed because of the collapse of the Huns on the death of Attila. There is some interesting story telling in it but I think it's really a cleverly disguised crib Ward-Perkins' thesis (blame the Vandals).
