Hello, I was curios about the plans of this. I read that after WW2 there was talk about England being taken over by the US. Was this ever a serious plan or more of a theory that was to be forgotten?
I really haven't heard of this at all. Could you please tell where you heard this? Sounds very weird considering Churchill being such a firm imperialist.
Are you referring to just England or to the British Isles as a whole?
