The Mig-25 had an extremely powerful vacuum-tube-based radar system which could punch through ECM with brute force. Supposedly, it could cook rabbits or other small animals from several hundred meters away if it were used on the ground. Are there any verifiable reports of this? Seems like a dangerous thing for the human mechanics to be working around.
As an electronics engineer i'm afraid that just isn't possible. Maybe possible if extremely directional and used in a contained/perfect environment.
