There are more men in this population pyramid graph of the UAE than women. Why?

I looked up a population pyramid for the United Arab Emirates, and found this:

That's a big, big difference, and I can't imagine why the difference would be so huge. I'd love to find out why.

Not much of a historical reason. The vast majority of UAE's population are immigrants (84% according to Pew) and are mostly temporary foreign workers. Those foreign workers are usually men.
