In 2010 I did some voluntary work in Namibia at the 'Dr Fischer Primary School Ministry of Education', while we were there we joked that the school looked like an old prison or camp, with a watch tower, fences and identical housing. It was not until recently that it clicked that Dr Fischer could refer to the infamous eugenicist Dr Eugen Fischer who is known to have done research on Namibian skulls. Namibia obviously had a german presence as a previous colony and while staying on one campsite we came across an elderly man unashamedly wearing a swastika around his neck.

I can't answer whether the site in question was a concentration camp or not, but I can say that it was certainly not a Nazi concentration camp.
The Germans did maintain concentration camps in German South-West Africa during and after the Herero Wars. The Germans committed what is generally recognized as a genocide against the Herero and Nama people in the colony, killing tens of thousands of civilians.
However, the British Empire captured German South-West Africa during the First World War (1915, to be exact), and it was never returned to Germany. There were no "Nazi run" concentration camps in German South-West Africa, considering that there weren't any Nazis at that point in time.
