(supplementary information) For those outside the USA or Canada, a cord is a unit of measurement for firewood that is approximately relative to its volume. Technically, it is the amount of firewood that, when stacked neatly and efficiently, would occupy 128 cubic feet (4 feet wide, 4 feet deep, by 8 feet long).
