Why is it that even though we bombed Japan twice with nuclear explosions in 1945 that killed almost 200,000 people, destroyed the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki to a pulp, and caused tremendous environmental effects on their region, the US and Japan keep a "yeah, bruh, we cool" attitude?

You should back up a bit and check your premise before asking for analysis. A better question might be: "How have Japanese attitudes toward the US changed since the war, partially in regard to the atomic bombs?"
