What were the ancient Greeks educated in?

I was told that to become a well-rounded person, one should look at the ancient Greek education system. This got me interested and made me wonder, what were the ancient Greeks educated in? As children, I know they were taught things like morals. Then they were taught physical education. In secondary school, I think they got taught things like rhetoric, philosophy, astronomy, etc. However I would love more detail and I would love to know if I'm even correct!

It depends on the time you're referencing. What is considered ancient Greece covered at least 400 years. At one point, there was no formal education system. Then Plato created the academy, which was adult education, but there was a trickle-down effect. What time were you thinking of?
