Ledgends tell of a Chines architect who calculated the exact amount of bricks needed to build a pass throug the Great Wall. When they questiond his calculations he added one brick. When the pass was completed there was one brick left. Is there any evidence to support this story?

This story doesn't even sound plausible on its face. They built an entire segment of wall, and not one brick was broken or misplaced?
