I'm looking for a particular painting of Jean-Paul Marat. Can you guys help me find it?

So a long time ago I took a honors world history class and I have this vivid memory of my teacher telling the class about a painting of Jean-Paul Marat climbing out of a sewer. I really want to know more about this painting. Does this exist or am I making this up? Can anybody help me out?

Edit: I did a little research on Google and I came across what I can only assume is done kind of forum and I found a comment that said this: "Actually I just ran across a picture of Marat climbing out of the sewer and being greeted by Diogenes and THAT's the Marat-related scene I can't get out of my mind now." So this leads me to believe that the painting actually exists. The forum: http://archiveofourown.org/chapters/1394725?show_comments=true

Could it be this?

Although it is a print, not a painting, entitled "Marat vainqueur de l'Aristocratie". Sounds like what you describe.

are you thinking of "The Death of Marat" by Jacques-Louis David?
