Virtually everything that would be useful in war. Aside from the basic trading that was happening before the war, different types of trade happened during the war. Mostly arms and ammunition, as were aboard the Lusitania. Actions like this led to the unrestricted submarine warfare, which then eventually led to American involvement in the war.
