We've had quite a few threads on Philistines and Canaanites if you'd like to pass the time while waiting for an answer.
You won't find anything here on Midian or Edom because they are less attested to in the archaeological record, but they are there. Edom has been of interest lately because there has been a certain prominent archaeologist who has pushed for the fact that biblical Edom didn't exist at the time when the biblical text said it did - some recent archaeological digging has pushed Edom somewhere into the 9-12th centuries which coincides with the putative date of the text, and the ensuing bitchfest about whether this proves anything or not has been entertaining.
