I've been studying the Women's Liberation Movement in a history class offered at my university and thought of this after reading about some of the origins of the women's movement. I've had trouble finding good primary or secondary sources directly related to the question, most of what I find is related to the Freedom Summer, which doesn't directly answer my question.

Would this have been something the Klan would have supported in an attempt to further raise the status of women above that of African-Americans or was the movement something they loathed?
