Most of the Me232s were taken by the allied powers to be studied and used to advance their own programs. By the early 50s or possibly even the late 40s designs had advanced past the Me 262s. The Czech air force had several they used until the early 50s when they were replaced with more modern planes.

Another reason is that with the Allies occupied Germany until 1949. So by the time a German air force could be reformed the Me262 was obsolete.
