Your best bet would be to pm a relevant flaired user, asking them for permission to be interviewed. There's a list of flaired users under the resources section of the subreddit.

Most will probably be happy to help if you are polite and explain your situation fully. Some of my favorite askhistorians moments have come through pms so don't be afraid to ask.
