The translations are correct, though both were actually called both dragon and tiger, though only Kenshin is referred to as God of War.

You will not find Kenshin and Shingen in official communications. That's their buddhist monk style name. Officially it's Takeda Harunobu. Uesugi Kenshin's name changed a bit. From Kagetora to Masatora to Terutora. Incidentally, Takeda always refered to him as Nagao because Uesugi is clan name he got from being adopted and given the title of Kantou Kanrei which means officially Kenshin outranks Shingen.

It's pretty clear Shingen is someone who only really cares about himself and expanding. Kenshin's personality is more open to interpretation.

Also neither are really very revolutionary in terms of battle tactics, though for some reason the uesugi army tends to be much better in quality, which is just as well because Echigo has a much smaller population base and tends to be outnumbered.

I don't know about Shingen but we still have Kenshin's armor, so we probably have Shingen's too. Measuring Kenshin's armor tell us he was barely average size for the time, which solved conflicting accounts of whether he's big or small (compared to the badass 6 feet warriors he would've been surrounded with, he would be tiny. Kind of like Napoleon.)
