It's a Swedish bayonet for the m/1896 Gevär, a Swedish-issued rifle designed by Karl Mauser based on his earlier M1893 rifle.
This rifle would not have been used by British forces, although m/1896s were used by Swedish volunteers and Finnish soldiers during the Winter War and the Continuation War from 1929 to 1944.

The sheathe looks very similar to one left by my Great-Grandfather and we found that one to be from a German Mauser from the WWII era.
